Quick update: Raquel and I set a date for our wedding!
Oh, yeah, we got engaged, too. 😉
I’m working on getting a wedding page to my main site going. Step one is to get it created and uploaded, step two will be filling it with the requisite information.

Moving
So Raquel and I looked at a house to rent today!
It was a two bedroom place, pretty nice, spacious, and all that. The property manager is nice and they have some good deals to be had. The deposit is logical and the additional rent for the dog is minimal.
I’m excited to apply at this place, although we want to look at a few other places before we commit.
Now we need to get a layout of the floor plan and figure out how to put all our stuff in it. I have a lot of stuff I can get rid of, but Raquel isn’t as flexible with her needs.
Turning over a new leaf
What an exciting day! Today is the first day without Worldly Soles holding me back from getting my work done. I haven’t cold called today, but I’ve already set 3 networking appointments and am gearing up to kick some ass on some warm leads after they’re done with their lunch rushes.
The networking they’re teaching us at work is amazing. I’m so excited to be using it and working it. It’s been an amazing asset and I’ve already got seven businesses between yes and no. This week is all about setting the appointments I’ve been working on and getting those businesses on board.
In other news, Raquel and I are looking at a couple different places. We’re looking at a two bedroom house tomorrow and, hopefully, a three bedroom as well. I really hope this place is the one. I don’t want Raquel to stress out more over looking for a place to move to and I’m ready to start packing with certainty.
I love Raquel, I love our dog, and I love myself..
Photography and life update
Lots of work, lots of life, and all with not too much news.
First off, let’s go with work.
I’m starting to rock the referral system they’ve finally trained us on. I’ll be out of the shoe store shortly (say that 5 times fast!) and able to finally move in with Raquel. I’m so excited.
Secondly, I’m doing a shit ton of work. I’m so exhausted, but what I’m doing is finally coming to fruition.
Really, I’ve been spinning my wheels since 2004, waiting for this moment to come to fruition. Waiting for my efforts to finally congeal into effects. Effects which will enable my life to come around into how I want it to be. How it should be.
All I need to do is to keep honoring my work and keep working with my honor.
Thirdly, I’m going to be writing an e-textbook for the iPad on fire photography. Raquel and my friends support me. Hell, some of them seem a little rabid to see it done. Still, it’ll be a project. I have to put together enough information to create a publication which can stand on its own. There’s a lot to cover, but I don’t know if it’ll be enough to flesh it out.
Regardless, I can create some sort of book. The information it will have will be relevant, potent, and expansive.
Finally, fourthly, I have continued editing the photos from the J Scordato shoot. Here are two more of them. I know the first isn’t on the blog, but deal with it.
